12 Step Recovery

Pleased to announce that the 12 step recovery community has a new membership site. Often people in the twelve step recovery fellowship try and find each other when they are away from meetings. It is hard to sometimes connect because program like Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous are based on the spiritual principal of anonymity. So how can people from all over the world begin to connect. Well this new website is an answer.

Members in the twelve step fellowship meet around the world at activities like conventions. Recently ICYPAA met in Oklahoma for their conference. I hear it was awesome! In Barcelona Spain NA is planning their world convention for 2009. So how can members stay in touch and help each other when they are countries apart?

I posted on facebook an application to identify the 12step community with an emblem of the number 12 so people who know will know. On face book many people use theri last names so anonymity will go out the window for those who choose. On 12steprecovery.com users do not have to use their real names.
